Who we are
In 1981, after eleven years experience working for a number of outstanding engineering and industrial companies designing concrete and steel structures and foundations for commercial, pharmaceutical, nuclear power plant and material handling buildings, Ramesh Ramchandani, P.E launched his own firm, RAMTECH Consulting Engineers, and continued to practice structural engineering.
In 1996, RAMTECH Consulting Engineers was incorporated in the State of New Jersey for the purpose of providing structural engineering design, inspection and consulting services to major industries and the general public.
In 2011, Ramesh launched R&R Structural Engineering.
During his lengthy career, Ramesh Ramchandani, has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge, utilizing leading edge, state-of-the-art equipment and digital technologies to better understand the strength of construction materials and how those materials can be used to help create and assure safe and economical building systems that meet or exceed the rigors of modern Building Codes.

In our decades of experience, we have learned that the complexity
of our field favors specialization. While we respect those who elect to
be "jack-of-all-trades", it is our tested opinion that specialization
offers clients many benefits.

"Over specification" increases construction costs unnecessarily and
thus defeats the purpose of structural engineering. Specification
"over-kill" does not serve the client's interests.
